Body wrap (with sea algae and a scrub with sea salt)
Having lain down on our preheated couch your skin is first scrubbed carefully with sea salt, mixed with an algae concentrate. After that a lukewarm mix of algae and sea clay is applied. You are wrapped in plastic foil and covered with an electric blanket. This blanket can be heated in parts adjusted to the circumstances.
Now we will let you have sweet dreams for 30 minutes. After this relaxing start you will take a refreshing shower and go and lie down on the couch again for the detoxification phase. After 20 minutes of rest your skin will be massaged with a body care oil with algae.
You will feel reborn!
What does such an algae wrap actually do for you?
To sea water and sea algae a healing and relaxing effect has been ascribed for centuries. Hippocrates, the father of modern medicine prescribed the healing use of sea water and sea algae as early as the fourth century. At the beginning of the twentieth century the French biologist Rene Quinton discovered that the composition of our blood plasma was almost identical to that of sea water. Both contain in the same ratio mineral salts, proteins and trace elements that are essential for our health. These substances are found in even higher concentrations in sea algae. One kilo of sea algae contains approximately as many active substances as 100,000 liters of sea water.
An algae wrap has a general stimulating effect creating more energy and vitality. By the highly detoxifying effect of the algae it literally and figuratively relieves fatigue, stress, overweight, cellulite, muscle and joint problems. Wrapped in sea algae the cellular metabolism is activated strongly to be able to dispose of the waste matter faster. At the same time the body is taking in the beneficial substances from the sea.
